WE ACCEPT CONSIGNMENT BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. PLEASE SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT USING OUR ‘CONTACT’ FORM. ITEMS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.
Garments must be in excellent condition, clean, pressed and on hangers when applicable. driftwood staff will determine prices. Items will be priced at approximately one-third of retail depending on condition, season, vintage and desirability. Once your items have been processed through our system, you are entitled to a priced inventory list via email accompanied by a copy of this consignment agreement. Please note that driftwood consignment reserves the right to adjust the starting price at any time within the first month of consignment without notice. Consignors receive 50% of the sale price. A total of two(2) payment checks will be issued during the consignment period, one at the end of the consignment period, and the other will be issued at any time you choose during the consignment period. Checks are prepared upon request only and processed within 24 hours. PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL IN ADVANCE! It is the consignor’s responsibility to acquire payment within 3 months after the consignment period has ended. After this period, driftwood will not honor payment requests.
Items are on the sales floor for a total of 70 days. After the first 35 days, unsold items are marked down by 50%. If items are not sold after this 70 day period, they become property of driftwood and are disposed of as management sees fit. There can be no exception. Donations are processed through “CHEAP CHICKADEE THRIFT SHOP” and all proceeds benefit SE Senior Center. You may pick up unsold items at any time during the 70 day consignment period. Items will go to donation if not picked up within 7 days after the end of the consignment period, again there can be no exception. Remember, although reasonable care will be taken, driftwood cannot ultimately be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your items.
